Chuck E Cheese!

I haven't gone to Chuck E Cheese in forever... well, since I was an appropriate age to actually go. Sarah and I decided that it would be a lot of fun to take Diaah and Hamoodie there for dinner. It was great... just picture seven adults and only two kids playing at Chuck E Cheese! It's hard to say who had more fun- us or the kids. Hamoodie had such a good time figuring out all the rides, how to use his tokens, and even saving his tickets in his shirt pocket!

With Chuck... or is it Chuck E?

Sarah couldn't quite figure out how to play the Deal or No Deal game... Hamoodie just pushed all the buttons until tickets came out

Mom and Sarah decided to give Dance, Dance, Revolution a shot. They failed.

He did pretty well on the duck game...

Jon and Hamoodie kissing Barney.

Hamoodie got 87 tickets... and all he wanted was the little yellow rubber lizard!

And my favorite shot of the night- as we were leaving, the manager asked us if we had a good time. We all did! He said that Diaah and Hamoodie were so cute, that they deserved a new stuffed animal. He gave each of them a Chuck E Cheese stuffed animal. I want to take them back!

My favorite Mama

My favorite Mama, except my own, recently added another adorable little boy to her family... Little Unay Junior. We had the pleasure of seeing him when he was just a month old. He's just as adorable as his big brother, Donnie.

We had a great day visiting with Nichole and the boys- they're adorable. Donnie has turned into quite the energetic little boy, and loves to run around and play.

This is him trying to retrieve his ball... it went under Grandma Bunny's lounge chair

He's such a mama's boy

Daddy's Little Wingman- I bought him that!

For the complete Donnie and Unay Photoshoot (the good ones and the bad ones), see my photo album. These are just a few of my favorites....

Diaah's Birthday

Diaah turned 1 in May. We had a great party for him at my parents house- it was so much fun! I have a ton of pictures from the party, but the ones below sort of epitomize the day!

I'm still here!

I know, it's been forever since I've posted. I'm going to do my best to catch up from the last few months.... they've been busy!

Sarah graduated with her masters from FSU in April. It was a great weekend- family and friends came to celebrate, we had a big party for her... it was great!

Hamoodie entertaining the crowds... he really wanted a beer. I filled a bottle with Apple Juice for him.

RMSP Weekend

I spent the weekend in Jacksonville at a Rocky Mountain School of Photography weekend workshop. It was a really great experience. Although I would have liked to see a little "in the field" instruction, the five class sessions that I attended were really helpful. I'm looking forward to taking my new lessons out on the road! Although I didn't do a whole lot of shooting, I did take some pictures at dinner at The Landings. I'm really looking forward to relying a lot less on the automatic settings on my camera and moving to the manual settings. The two pictures below were a result of one of the classes I took, Using the Zone System for Color. The first shot was using the automatic night time mode on my camera. The second was taken using the manual setting and applying the zone system method.

I then proceeded to have a photo shoot with Jon and a lemon at dinner. It took me about 30 shots to get those, but I suppose that's the reason to have a digital camera!

I had a really great time at the workshop, and would love the opportunity to go to the school... we'll see if that happens! In the meantime, I'm really excited about practicing all the new techniques that I learned. The photos below are two others I took at The Jacksonville Landings.

My favorite baby

While I was in West Palm Beach for Thanksgiving, I had the pleasure of photographing my favorite baby, Donnie. He was a lot of fun! He's almost a year old now (His birthday is December 11), and he's really figured out what cameras are for and that he's adorable. These are my favorites:
